2 Weeks Old
During our Visit
This visit is scheduled when baby is 2 weeks old. At this visit, the provider will address anything that was being monitored from the newborn visit, such as weight, jaundice, feeding, etc. This is a great time to check in as the parents and baby are settling in!
Immunizations
There are no immunizations given at this appointment. The Newborn Metabolic Screen #2 is conducted through a heel stick. This is required by the State of Texas and will be sent out for results.
