Our patient accounts are handled by our in house billing department - all representatives are employees of Chisholm Trail Pediatrics.

* Please verify with your insurance whether your provider is "preferred" within their network.  Some plans offer tiered benefits and  may charge more for non-preferred providers.  Our providers have no choice in being "preferred" or "non-preferred", Tier 1, or Tier 2, etc.  


Referrals to a specialist can sometimes take several days due to insurance processing time and volume of requests.

Please allow 2 weeks from the date of the original request either by the doctor or by the patient for the referral to be complete.  

Each doctor or nurse practitioner has their own CMA assigned to complete referrals.  If you are calling to check the status of your referral, please know your insurance, your specialist and the reason for the referral as well as the name of the doctor or nurse practitioner your child saw for the visit.  

Additional Fees: 


There is a $15 dollar fee for medical records to be copied or transferred to another clinic

There is a $25 no show fee if your appointment is not cancelled 2 hours prior to your scheduled time.
