CTP and COVID-19
What are we doing here at CTP?
Here at CTP, we are striving to protect both our patients and our staff while still being able to meet our community health needs. Here are some things we are doing at ensure both clinics to insure safety for everyone:
We are separating our sick patients and our well patients. The well visits are being done at the beginning of each session followed by sick patients.
At this time, waiting in the lobby is optional for Well-Child appointments. At our Georgetown clinic, you can text from the car (per the signs in the parking lot) and let us know you have arrived. At our Forest Creek location, you can use the Healow Check in to let us know you have arrived, and if you are at the clinic for a Well-Child appointment, then you are welcome to wait in our waiting room for your appointment.
Rooms are thoroughly sanitized between each patient. The entire office is cleaned nightly.
You can check in using a text message! A reminder text will be sent to you 2 days prior to your appointment; this message is where you can begin the check-in process, which includes checking demographics, paying your Copay, and submitting any medical information that may have changed. You will receive another text message reminder the morning of your appointment. You can then use this link to let us know you have arrived at the clinic. Please see this short video below to help with your check in process!
COVID -19 PCR Rapid testing
The Abbott RealTime SARS-C0V-2 assay is an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) test authorized by the U.S. FDA for use by authorized laboratories, using real-time (RT) polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technology for the qualitative detection of nucleic acids from the SARS-CoV-2 virus and diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 virus infection from individuals meeting CDC clinical and/or epidemiological testing criteria. This test is a molecular test which looks for COVID viral RNA.
